Trunk-or-Treat, Sunday, October 25th, 2–4 pm
In the Polo Run Pool Parking Lot
We’re excited to announce that our community will be hosting a Trunk-or-Treat event on the afternoon of Sunday, October 25th!
For those who may not be familiar, a Trunk-or-Treat is a fun and safe alternative to traditional trick-or-treating. Instead of going door-to-door, children walk from car to car in a designated area where neighbors have decorated the trunks of their vehicles and hand out candy. It’s a fantastic way to celebrate the Halloween spirit in a controlled and festive environment!
How It’s Similar to Traditional Trick-or-Treating:
- Children will still dress up in costumes.
- They will collect candy and treats from different locations (in this case, car trunks instead of houses).
- It’s a chance for neighbors to connect and enjoy the Halloween season together.
How It’s Different:
- Instead of walking around the neighborhood, the event takes place in a specific parking area where decorated cars are stationed.
- It’s a daytime event, making it a safer option for younger children or families looking for an alternative to nighttime trick-or-treating.
Participants can be as creative as they want with trunk decorations, adding an extra layer of fun!
We encourage everyone to participate, whether by decorating your car, handing out treats, or bringing your little ones to join the fun! More details will follow soon.
